The soothing colors, original brick walls and dark wood floors of My Thai restaurant set a sophisticated stage as soon as you enter.
Its two dining rooms are decorated with stunning statuary, striped walls in olive and burgundy and bamboo trees. Banquettes line one wall in the main area with and low tables with seating on pillows on the floor adds a traditional touch in the other room. The overall feeling is elegant and welcoming.
The ambiance, service and food were wonderful. The food arrived very quickly, the ingredients were fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked. I will definitely return – Naomi G.
I love this restaurant! Came here for lunch and we ordered a little bit of everything. For appetizers we ordered the fried bread with their curry sauce (to-die-for) and spring rolls. For our entree we got basil chicken and noodles with pork. Yum! I will most definitely be back.
Service is quick and friendly. I love the interior and it’s just one of those cute restaurants that easily become a favorite.

“A Great Find”
Absolutely delicious! One of the tastiest Thai places I’ve been too. Very clean, very welcoming service. Food served fast and hot. “Nice take-out option”
We grabbed take-out from My Thai on a weeknight while visiting friends in San Rafael. We ordered the Drunken Noodles, and while we agree with another reviewer that it has many more veggies (and even a few black-eyed peas??) than we’ve had with other versions of this dish, it wasn’t the best Drunken Noodles we’ve had. It was a nice variation though. We also ordered the Fresh Roles, which were exactly that–fresh veggies with yummy dipping sauce. Service was friendly and we’d definitely return next time we’re in town and try some other options. It wasn’t super busy on a weeknight around 6:30pm. – MolsenTX
“The standout Thai in San Rafael!”
My Thai has earned its stellar reputation over many years. It is a well established, tastefully decorated, quality Thai restaurant.
My favorite dish is the My Thai chicken salad. That is a fabulous fresh salad with a variety of different raw lettuce, cucumber, veggies, and their delicious Thai chicken nuggets. What a delight. This is one of the best salads you will have anywhere.
I also enjoy their red chicken curry. Highly recommended! – Richard T

My Thai has a very extensive menu, with real typical choices, that you would expect to find in Thailand. The food itself is delicious, very colorful and with the correct measure of spice (of course it depends on your taste).
The service was flawless and attentive. When we finished dinner, the restaurant was crowded, therefore reservation should be advised. – Luís P

“Very tasy and filling”
3 meals 2 appetizers and no disappointment. Our meals were great, the presentation was fabulous and the flavor amazing. The Chicken Pad Thai, drunken noodles and a curry dish was what we had and we enjoyed all of it. Our wait staff was very good also. I will return to this location on future trips. The price for 3 with the 2 appetizers and 3 drinks cam to $80. That sounds a little high but again the quality made up for the price – papamikeinaz
“Delicious food, beautifully presented”
The service was impeccable and the servers were lovely. We ordered the fresh spring rolls as an appetizer and they were not only gorgeous but delicious. Our first main course was an old standby – Chicken Pad Thai – which was good but not great. Our second main course was the special for the day – salmon and prawns with ginger and asparagus in a coconut curry sauce and served in a coconut. It too was beautifully presented and delicious.
